Date Balls

  • 150g dried, pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pepitas
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon organic cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint essence
  • sulfur-free desicated coconut for rolling


  1. Place dates, seed and cocoa in a food processor and blend until all chopped up finely.
  2. Add essence and briefly mix together.
  3. Roll teaspoon-full amounts of mixture into balls and roll in coconut.
  4. Bliss out on the cholesterol, sugar, gluten, sulfur, etc free goodies! (makes 20 small balls)
